Analysis & Research

The mission of the Office of Analysis and Research of the General Council on Finance and Administration is to help the leadership of The United Methodist Church make the best decisions possible, with the best information available, in order to make the best church imaginable. Analysis and Research does this by providing readily-accessible analytical tools for planning and evaluation, highlighting and assessing emerging issues facing the church, consulting with church leadership on the decisions they make, and cooperating with other researchers and agencies on the work we accomplish together.
