• Provides assistance to approximately 170 active and retired bishops in five Jurisdictions (US) and central conferences (those outside the US) and 31 Surviving Spouses.
• Administers compensation and benefits for bishops and families
• Responsible for auditing and approving travel expenses and funding for office equipment, furnishings and housing.
• The Assistant General Secretary, in consultation with the Episcopal Services Committee and General Secretary, administers the Episcopal Fund.
• The Episcopal Fund provides for the salary and expenses of active bishops as well as benefits to retired bishops, surviving spouses and minor children of deceased bishops.
