The mission of GCFA Philanthropic Services is to develop funding opportunities throughout the connection that will help undergird the missional work of Annual Conferences, General Agencies and General Conference.

GCFA Annual Conference Partnership

Strategies to Increase Funds for Ministry - The mission of the Annual Conference Partnership is to seek ways to deepen the relationship between GCFA and Annual Conferences through collaboration on projects that offer mutual financial benefit.

The cost of doing ministry is rising at an alarming rate. Thus general church and annual conference expenses are increasing. Our vision is to gather leaders to pray, listen and discuss ways to build upon the knowledge and expertise within each annual conference that can be shared as best practices throughout the connection while learning about additional funding opportunities.

Church-wide Estate Planning Campaign

We are excited to announce our initiative to encourage all members of our denomination to plan their estate. It is our hope that this campaign will encourage all United Methodists to think of planning their estate and inspire each of us to include the church in our estate planning. Our primary goal is not to give advice about how gifts should be made or to whom, but to encourage prior planning and preparation. This is not only wise and practical, but also scriptural. Proverbs 13:22 tells us that a "good person leaves an inheritance for their children's children..."

We look forward to continuing to grow planned giving and estate planning among United Methodist Church members. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or if we can be of assistance in any way.
