Bryan Mills serves as GCFA’s General Counsel. In this role, he provides guidance and advice to GCFA’s employees, committees, and board of directors on a wide range of legal topics. He oversees the operations of GCFA’s Legal Services Department, which is responsible for carrying out GCFA’s Disciplinary duty to protect the legal rights and interests of the denomination. He regularly speaks to groups on legal issues which impact denominational entities, and serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the United Methodist Church Conference Chancellors Association.
Bryan graduated from Clemson University’s Honors College with a Bachelor of Science in Management and then earned his law degree from Columbia Law School. He has worked in GCFA’s Legal Services Department since January 2009.
