UMCmarket continues to expand

Within a couple of weeks, and in time to debut at General Conference, UMCmarket will introduce additional features and offers. One of the most anticipated attributes of the updated platform will be the increased reporting function. This improved reporting functionality will help churches monitor their success with the program.  And, for any United Methodist ministry not currently enabled on the platform, GCFA’s Shared Services Department will now be able to add those ministries directly to the program, thereby reducing waiting periods.

UMCmarket’s efforts will continue to focus on mission and ministry, exploring opportunities to help supporters find alternative means to fund the missions of our United Methodist affiliated ministries and local churches. As part of our focus on ministry, GCFA is committed to making UMCmarket reflective of our global church.  You may have noticed that UMCmarket is now available in Spanish and Korean.  At the bottom of the homepage, there is an option to change the language from English to Korean or Spanish.  As we continue to grow the platform, our hope at GCFA is to add more languages with increased functionality at no cost to the local church or ministry.

Finally, just in time to celebrate Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 8), our support partner, Tribute, has partnered with several national retailers to offer special promotions and discounts with additional support for UMC ministries.  With UMCmarket, United Methodist church members can shop, save, and support, all with the click of the mouse.
