Black & Veatch

Your Solar Powered Future Starts Here

A new rooftop solar program – in partnership with Fellowship Energy, Steeplecom, and Black & Veatch– is now available to local churches and ministries of The United Methodist Church. This program is very similar to the deployment of wireless towers on the rooftops of UMC churches across the country that Steeplecom manages. Where the cell tower program offered a new stream of income to congregations, the solar program will offer reduced operating expenses by offsetting the amount of electricity each church consumes from their local power company.  Additionally, this program directly aligns with the United Methodist Social Principles to contribute to the betterment of humanity and stewardship of the natural world by reducing each church’s carbon footprint.

This program is available to churches of all sizes and will be organized within the Church’s Jurisdictional conferences. Getting started only takes a few minutes. Just click the "Start Now" button below to sign-up for a no-risk assessment of your church’s solar potential. Once our team has completed your free assessment, we will follow up on the next steps of your journey to a solar-powered future.
